Terms of Service

By creating an account and using DoseSafe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to all users, including free and premium subscribers.

DoseSafe is a medication tracking application that helps parents and carers record, monitor, and be reminded of children's medication doses. Key features include:

• Medication dose logging and history
• Safe-dose interval calculations based on medication type and child's age
• Shared family access for multiple carers
• Push notification reminders
• Temperature tracking
• Custom medication tracking (Premium)

DoseSafe is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

The dose calculations and interval suggestions within the app are provided as a reference guide only, based on publicly available UK guidelines for common children's medications. They do not account for all individual circumstances, medical conditions, or medication interactions.

You must always:

• Read and follow the dosage instructions on the medication packaging
• Consult a pharmacist or GP if you are uncertain about appropriate dosing
• Seek immediate medical attention if you believe your child has been over-dosed

DoseSafe and its operators accept no liability for any adverse outcomes arising from medication decisions made using or in reliance on this application.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be 18 or over to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

You may invite other adults (family members, carers) to join your family group. You are responsible for ensuring that only appropriate, trusted individuals are given access to your children's health records.

You agree not to:

• Use DoseSafe for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account without permission
• Use the service to track medication for individuals other than children in your care
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service

DoseSafe offers a free tier and a paid Premium tier. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.

• Monthly: £2.99/month, billed monthly
• Annual: £29/year, billed annually (save ~20%)

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Premium features until then. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Your use of DoseSafe is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DoseSafe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with reasonable notice to users.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
